Twinkling stars

PSX_20190902_080836PSX_20190831_221624I’ve been tried my best to avoid to get caught in the situation when people get nosy about me taking pictures of whatever I like. Some have asked or stopped me for the sake of their curiosity, adding a couple of unnecessary comments and questions like “that camera must be heavy”,  “it must be expensive”, “are you a (professional) photographer?”. They seem like they actually don’t care who the person they are talking to. Most of the time, it was to show off what they know about, regardless how much experiences I have or I am willing to talk with them about the subject.

It was a few weeks ago in the mountain. I was sitting in front of the shelter, looking around till after dark.  I noticed a stranger approached, expecting another bothersome questions. Being open, honest with respects, the conversation over our experiences and passions about photography continued till midnight.  It left me think about what I haven’t tried yet or barely did in the past including capturing the stars in the sky.

The first trial failed as the focus was lost. This is from the second that I can see the stars in the pictures, thanks to the pleasant moment full of insight from the stranger which opened my eyes and minds to the my own frontier.
